Description
Jade Keiko Ozawa is a member of the Chikyuoni clan, Mina Kitsumi is a Tenshioni... the two clans are bitter enemies. The Tenshioni will go well out of their way to get whatever they want, or destroy anyone or anything that stands in their way - young and old alike.
Mina seems to have taken a liking to Jade recently and decided that since it was her birthday (June 28th 2003 was when she was created.) she was going to give her a big old kiss. Jade however doesn't seem terribly pleased with it.

On the 28th of June, Jade's 'birthday', I posted the inked version of this. A month (and a day) later I finally get around to finishing the coloured version. I worked my tail off on this one, mostly the shading of it, the background was secondary...
The background actually kind of annoyed me while I was making it... mostly because the entire time I couldn't stop thinking; "Gods I want to be finished with this damn thing."
I'm pleased with how it turned out finally though, even if the lighting is a big off between the characters and the background itself. :/
Basically what I was going for with the background, I was trying to create a crystalline field which would appear within the boarders of the Chikyuoni clan territory. There really should be some trees in there but I didn't have enough room for them with those pillars in the way. XD
